President / CEO

My wife Kathy and I started Superior Boat Repair & Sales in July of 2009 after a long career working for Nautique Boat Company. I grew up in a boating family and learned to water ski on Folsom Lake as a young boy. I’ve been passionate about boating and water sports since that time. When I’m not at my dealership, I enjoy spending time with my family in Lake Tahoe and water skiing out on Folsom Lake, early in the mornings with my ski buddies. My staff and I look forward to earning your business and helping you create your own dreams, memories and experiences, out on the water!

My Husband and I started Superior Boat Repair & Sales in July of 2009. I enjoy spending time with family, especially our three girls and four grandchildren. Its been a plessure to watch the company grow.

I joined Superior Boat Repair & Sales in October 2022. I was raised to be a lover of outdoor adventures, whether it was camping, crabbing, or just spending the day out at the beach. I am excited to be a part of the Superior Boat team and look forward to helping make many families' boating dreams come true.

I started with Superior Boat Repair & Sales in May 2020 as the Pro Shop Manager. I grew up on the water and have always loved to share my passion for watersports with other people. I take pride in knowing the products we have here and what they can do to improve your boating experience.

I have been with Superior Boat Repair & Sales since March of 2022 I started as a lot porter and now I am working in the service department as the parts and warranty advisor. I grew up going to Folsom lake with my family. We had a 1989 Ski Nautique which is where my love for boating came from. My brothers and I were always very competitive with each other, which helped drive us to get fairly good at wakeboarding. I went to Chico State and competed on the Wakeboard team. I typically spend the weekends hanging out with my son and my dog.

I have worked with Superior Boat Repair & Sales since 2013. I started out as a service techinician for the first couple of years and have now switched over to the sales dept. I am also a veteran of the US Coast Guard. I have always had a love for the water and being in the marine industry suits me perfectly. I enjoy helping to bring people and families together, through boating.

I have been with Superior Boat Repair & Sales for over 5 years working in the service department and now in the sales department. I grew up going to Shasta lake with my family. We had a 1988 Ski Nautique which is where my love for boating came from. My brother and I were always very competitive with each other, which helped drive us to get fairly good at wakeboarding. I went to Sac State and competed on the Wakeboard team. On the weekend if I'm not on a boat you can find me on my Harley. See you out on the water.

I started working for Superior Boat Repair & Sales in July 2019. I had spent the last 35 years selling High-End Automobiles (German Sports Cars). I knew very little about the boating industry and I was hoping for a challenge. I have not been disappointed! On my free time I enjoy hitting the golf course.

Service Technician

I have been a mechanic all my life and have been around boats since I was kid in the 70's. While employeed as an ASE certified State of California smog technician, I have owned and rebuilt several old boats. The most current, a classic 1980 Ski Supreme, which I enjoy going out in, on the weekends. I joined Superior Boat Repair & Sales in June of 2017 and have been to the Supreme factory for training and I am also a certified technician on PCM engines.

I started here at Superior Boat Repair & Sales in September 2020 I was born and raised in a boat family and that’s where my interest about boats developed. I enjoy watersports, mountain biking, and hiking. My favorite thing about Superior Boat is all the products they sell like the tubes and wakeboards.

I started with Superior Boat Repair and Sales in 2022 after being a customer for many years. I grew up around boats and am happy to be on my fourth Nautique. I ride with my family on Folsom Lake, Bullards Bar, Shasta, and Don Pedro—mostly wakeboarding, but lately, we’re spending more time wake surfing. I’m looking forward to helping customers with their boats and gear.

What is your favorite trick? I don't really have any tricks. I like to work on improving my buoy count in the course.

How old were you when you started riding?  I first got on waterskis when I was 12. My grandparents lived on the ocean in Maine and I learned to ski behind their Boston Whaler with a 40 hp outboard engine.

What was your first boat? Shortly after I got married, my wife and I bought 1970 Ski Nautique. Once we started having kids, we upgraded to a 1992 Ski Nautique Open Bow.

What is your current boat? 2015 Ski Nautique 200

What is your favorite or current board setup? I have an HO Syndicate

What is your home lake/place to ride? I've been skiing on Folsom Lake for over 30 years. Recently, I joined the Sacramento Water Ski Club and ski the course on Winchester lake.

What is the coolest place you have ever ridden? During our honeymoon, my wife and I skied on the Club Med course which was on a lagoon in Cancun. I've also had several opportunities to go houseboating on Shasta Lake.

How old were you when you started skiing? About 10, being pulled by a quad across the pond with a long rope on my dads wooden single ski

What was your first boat? My dad had a 1991 Carrera cigarette boat with twin 454's

When I'm watching someone else: Whatever a person has been working on. Sometimes it's a hard trick, but more often it's just getting up for the first time--most people are super excited when they finally get it and that's the fun part!
